We recommend using both. Brush your teeth with your usual toothpaste and then use PROCOAL.
Do you brush your teeth with toothpaste after using charcoal?
It is recommended to brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste after you have used activated charcoal. This is because activated charcoal teeth whiteners similar to ours use extremely fine charcoal powder which can sometimes stick to your gum lines and the best way to get rid of them is to rinse thoroughly and use your regular toothpaste afterwards.
How many times can you use activated charcoal on your teeth? Can you use charcoal toothpaste everyday?
We often get asked how often can you brush your teeth with activated charcoal?You can use charcoal toothpaste everyday but it really depends what type of charcoal toothpaste you are using. If it is a black charcoal toothpaste in gel or "paste" format then you can use it twice a day using a suitable brush. However, if it is a charcoal teeth whitening powder then you need first ascertain how abrasive it is and what type of toothbrush you are using. If the right type of activated charcoal is used in a teeth whitening formulation then it is not going to be abrasive hence it would be safe to use a couple of times a day using a soft bristle brush. We recommend that you do not brush overzealously even when you are using a soft bristle toothbrush.
