What is Dipeptide-2?
Dipeptide-2 is part of the complex called Eyeliss which includes two other ingredients, Valine and Tryptophan. These three actives are mainly formulated into eye care products and target puffy eyes by increasing the lymphatic circulation that gathers around the eyes and is usually at its worse in the mornings. An independent clinical study has shown that signs of under-eyes bags show marked improvement for 70% of the participants after consistent use for 56 days. Due to the molecule size being very small, it is able to penetrate the skin rapidly and effectively allowing the peptide complex to kick start the cell renewal process and helping to replenish the appearance of the skin. With the skin around the eyes being considerably thinner than the rest of the face, you may find using your ring finger will be the gentlest and most effective application to avoid tugging the skin.
Side effects of Dipeptide-2
None, however those with sensitive skin and eyes should consult a doctor or medical professional before introducing the ingredient into your daily skincare routine.
